On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Baytown Police officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Nolan Road following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by Life Flight to an area hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown. No other injuries were reported. A Baytown Police K-9 unit attempted to track the suspect, but no suspect was located.
Crime Scene Investigators and Detectives responded to the scene and are actively investigating the incident. This investigation remains ongoing.
