BARREST MADE/Homicide UPDATE — Baytown Police Department
1500 block of Pruett Street Homicide Investigation Update
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has accepted a murder charge against 64-year-old Joel Garza Garza of Baytown in connection with the homicide. The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Rocky Modica of Baytown.

The Baytown Police Department is currently investigating a homicide in the 1500 block of South Pruett Street, near West Nazro and West Main Street.
Preliminary information indicates that two males who knew each other were involved in an argument. During the altercation, one male allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot the other.
