Story 1: On December 29, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m., officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of West Baker Road. Upon arrival, officers determined that the male involved had left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. As a result of the investigation, a 44-year-old female from Baytown, Lanet McGilbray, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. A 19-year-old male from Baytown, Elijah Menifee, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor Deadly Conduct – Discharge of a Firearm. This case remains under investigation.
Story 2: Baytown Fire Department responded to a garage fire on Wood Wind Court in Baytown. No injuries were sustained.
Story 3: Baytown Fire and EMS responded to a call at a warehouse on Gateway Boulevard in Baytown. A man was electrocuted at the job site and thankfully did not sustain serious injuries.
