Around 11:49 A.M. Wednesday, a stabbing occurred at Sterling High School on W. Baker Road in Baytown. Reportedly, one student stabbed another student in the neck. The injured student was transported to the local hospital.
In a statement from Nancy Bonds, director of communications at Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District, Sterling High School was placed on a temporary lockdown this morning due to a stabbing incident. The lockdown has been lifted. The injured student was transported to the local hospital. She also said more information will be released later.
