UPDATE from Baytown Police Media Department: Update from Baytown Police Media Department: We can confirm that while responding to a call-out, one of our officers was involved in an auto-pedestrian crash on Highway 146 in the Shoreacres area that resulted in a fatality. Our officer was uninjured. The investigation was handled by Harris County Precinct 8, the lead investigative agency. All additional information should be requested through Precinct 8.
