02.22.21 Three Stories: Shots Fired/Sexual Assault/Evasion (Update Added to Story 3)

Story 1: At 10:20 a.m. Saturday, February 20, officers responded to a shots fired call in the 700 block of Rollingbrook.  A witness reported seeing a blue passenger car approach the building before an unidentified occupant fired from inside the vehicle toward the community building.  The building was struck more than once.  The building was occupied by an individual who was unharmed.  Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact Baytown Crimestoppers.

Story 2: At  3:52 a.m. this morning, officers responded to the 4500 block of Knights Ct in regard to a woman being held against her will.  Responding officers used a PA to have the occupants of the home exit.  Four adults and two juveniles exited the home and were detained.  Officers searched the home and located the distraught victim in a closet.  She reported an acquaintance had assaulted her in Houston before forcing her into a car and driving to the Knights Ct address.  There, she was sexually assaulted and held against her will.  The victim was taken to Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital for treatment.  Detectives obtained and served an evidentiary search warrant on the home.  The six occupants of the home were taken to the police department for interviews.  Detectives are still investigating this ongoing case.

Story 3: A suspect evaded police by climbing on top of a building. Baytown police was assisted by Baytown Fire Department in apprehending the suspect. The incident occurred Monday evening, February 22, on East Texas Avenue. Check back for the official Baytown police press release.
