09.01.20 Two Stories: Felony Evading Police and Stabbing (Press Release Now Added for Story 2)

Story 1: 2020-42229 – On August 30th at 5:37 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon at the Tompkins Green Apartments in the 600 block of Massey Tompkins. Upon arrival officers were directed to a male in the parking lot, who allegedly had been in an altercation with a female and pulled a gun on her before fleeing on foot. Upon seeing the male, the officers called to him by name at which time the suspect fled on foot, refusing to comply with the officer’s commands to stop. The suspect was able to elude officers and charges of Felony Evading are pending.  

Story 2: 2020-42515 – On September 1st at 2:43 a.m., Baytown Police responded to 1200 Northwood Drive in reference to a stabbing. Officers contacted the victim, identified as a 19-year-old Hispanic male, lying on the sidewalk. The victim had several lacerations to his right leg and stomach.  The victim was transported via life flight to Hermann Hospital in stable condition. The victim reported he was attacked by several unknown black males in the parking lot. Case is under investigation.
