On Saturday, June 8th at 9:05 p.m., Baytown Police responded to 3400 Shady Hill Drive in reference to a drowning. Baytown officers contacted a female at the location who told officers a 3 year old male, who she was babysitting, fell into the pool. The female reported she was sitting in a chair next to the pool and when she looked away for a moment, the child fell in the pool. The child was transported to Texas Children’s Hospital for treatment.

Around 8 pm Saturday night, June 8, Baytown police, EMS and Fire and Rescue responed to a near-drowning incident at the Keira Bella Apartments at 3400 Shady Hill in Baytown. The child was conscious and breathing when he was airlifted to a Houston hospital.
