Story 2:

Then Around midnight on Tuesday night, Baytown’s first responders assisted

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies at the scene of a major accident that resulted in a fatality.

In a press release from Harris County Sheriff’s Office
On June 26, 2018, at approximately 2356 hours,

the complainant was operating a 2004 Ford Escape

westbound in the 1200 block of E. I-10 in the inside

lane of travel. The Ford failed to drive in a single

marked lane of travel striking the inside concrete divider.

The Ford traveled back into the middle lane of travel.

The Ford rotated counter clockwise striking the inside

concrete divider. The Ford rolled over onto its right side

and the complainant was not wearing their seat belt and

was ejected from the vehicle. The Ford came to final

uncontrolled rest facing to the south. The front passenger

in the Ford refused medical treatment and remained at

the collision scene. The case remains under investigation

by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Story 3:

2018-37994 – This morning at approximately 9:15 a.m., officers responded to a welfare concern in the area of SH 146 and West Main regarding a female who may have jumped off the overpass. Upon arrival officers learned that the complainant was giving  her 35 year old female friend a ride from Alvin to a location here in Baytown. The 35 year old, according to the complainant, was acting strange on the trip and when they arrived in the Baytown area the 35 year old opened the rear door, where she was sitting, and was hanging out of the door. The complainant immediately began to pull over on the overpass of SH 146 Northbound over West Main. While doing so the 35 year old fell out of the car and as the complainant looked in her rearview mirror she observed the 35 year old go over the rail and onto the grassy area below, approximately a 15 foot fall. It is unclear at this time if the 35 year old intentionally jumped or if she simply fell over the rail due to her disoriented state from falling out of the car. The 35 year old was conscious and breathing at the time medical assistance arrived, however due to the nature of the fall and the disoriented and combative state of the 35 year old, she was flown to Memorial Hermann in Houston to be evaluated and treated for any injuries. There are no charges expected at this time.
