2017-53907 – On Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:23 p.m., officers responded
to the 3100 block of Garth in reference to a criminal mischief complaint.
Upon arrival officers found the suspect, identified as 38 Lance Fontenot
of Baytown, laying on the ground in the parking lot, bleeding from his arm.
Officers noticed that there were several windows at the Jiffy Lube,
next door to the Stripes, broken out. They also learned that Fontenot
had knocked over a cell phone case and a newspaper stand while inside
the Stripes prior to breaking out the windows at the Jiffy Lube and the
bleeding appeared to be a result of Fontenot breaking those windows. Fontenot
was taken into custody without incident and was subsequently transported to
Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital to be treated for the lacerations to
his arm before being transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked
on charges of Criminal Mischief.
