On Thursday evening, May 11, 2017, Baytown’s emergency response personnel assisted Chambers County at the scene of an accident at 1405 and 565 in Mt. Belvieu. According to information gathered at the scene, the driver of the black car ran the red light and collided with the driver of the gray car. The driver of the gray car had to be extricated from her vehicle and was transported to a local hospital with lower back injuries.
In our second video: Later on the same evening, Baytown’s emergency response teams extricated the driver of the silver car from its wreckage. The driver was transported to the hospital. According to information gathered at the scene, the driver of the silver car was passing this black pickup in the 5600 block of John Martin Road. The driver then attempted to avoid an oncoming vehicle when it was struck by the black pickup. The driver of the pickup sustained minor injuries.
