Case #2025- 47630 –
Stabbing On September 20, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a hospital in the 4400 block of Garth Road in reference to a stabbing. The incident was reported to have occurred at a bar in the 400 block of East Texas Avenue. Preliminary information indicates two 54-year-old males were playing pool with two unidentified Hispanic males when a fight broke out after multiple games. This case remains under investigation.
2025-47638 – Shooting
On September 20, 2025, at approximately 11:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to a bar located at the 400 block of E Texas Ave in reference to reports of shots fired. The call was later updated to a shooting after a 27-year-old male arrived at Houston Methodist Baytown by private vehicle. He sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right leg. This case remains under investigation.

A 3-car crash occurred at 6:53 a.m. on SH146 at Loop 2007. One vehicle was southbound on 146 turning left onto 207 and failed to yield the right-of-way to an oncoming vehicle, causing the crash.
Fortunately, there was only on injury, a 48-year-old male, in stable condition, who was flown by LifeFlight to a Houston hospital as a precaution.
Deceased: 32-year-old female, who was without a permanent residence. On August 31, 2025, at approximately 4:45 a.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of S. SH Business following reports of a major accident. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive female, who was transported to the hospital and later succumbed to her injuries. Our Crash Recon Team was dispatched and is actively investigating the incident, which is currently being treated as a hit-and-run auto-pedestrian collision.
