
Updates: Press Releases from Baytown PD: Case #2025-22816 – Robbery
5/10/25 – at approximately midnight, officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of East Freeway in reference to a robbery.
Complainant stated he was assaulted by two black men, who were described as slim build, wearing all black clothing and black masks. Suspects took complainant’s gold chain and gold watch.
Officers canvassed area, but were unable to find suspects.
Case Status: under investigation
Case #2025-22812 – Stabbing
On May 9, 2025, around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a stabbing at an apartment complex near the 6900 block of North Main Street.
A man was found with stab wounds and was life-flighted to Memorial Hermann Hospital. He is in stable condition.
The suspect, a relative of the victim, later identified as 55-year-old Dale Johnson of Baytown, stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
The stabbing happened during a fight between the two inside their apartment.
The weapon was found and recovered.
The suspect was treated for an eye injury at a local hospital, then taken to jail.
The suspect is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
