Correction on Graphic Display: Incident occurred on Wednesday night. 2020-58748 – On December 2nd at 8:03 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a traffic accident with an injury in the 3900 block of Cosby Cedar Bayou. Upon arrival officers learned a vehicle was traveling north in the 3900 block of Crosby Cedar Bayou when the driver lost control of the vehicle, possibly from hydroplaning, and struck a 35 year old male who was standing near a mailbox on the roadside. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation and there were no signs of intoxication noted by the officer. The 35 year old was transported by ambulance to the Life flight east base in Baytown and then air lifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston to be treated for his injuries. The extent of the injuries and condition of the victim are unknown at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
