Story 1: This structure fire of a mobile home occurred around 5:30 am Monday morning in the 8800 block of Thompson Road. Highlands and Channelview fire departments responded to the scene. It was stated at the scene the mobile home was unoccupied. No injuries were reported.
Story 2: Shortly after 8 pm Monday night, this rollover occurred on I-10 Westbound near the North Main exit. The driver of this pickup and his passenger were uninjured and refused medical treatment at the scene. The driver said he lost control when he tried to avoid hitting a cow standing in the middle of the road
