05.05.20 Three News Stories/Baytown

Story 1:

2020-22448 – On May 3rd at 1:54 a.m. officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 7700 block of North Main. Upon arrival officers found the victim, a 47 year old Baytown man, who had suffered multiple stab wounds and they immediately began rendering aid to him until EMS arrived. During the initial investigation officers learned the victim, along with several other subjects, were having a party on the property in the 7700 block of North Main when the victim got into an argument with two other males. At one point the two males left the party only to return a short time later at which time they attacked the complainant, stabbing him multiple times before fleeing the scene.  The victim was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries where at last report he was in stable condition. Detectives are investigating.

Story 2:

2020-22595 – On May 4th at 3:58 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the  TA Truck Stop located in the 6800 block of Thompson Road. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant, a store employee, who advised a black male had entered the store and approached the counter, displayed a handgun and demanded the money from the register. The complainant complied and the suspect fled the scene, possibly getting into a gray passenger car. The suspect was described as a black male, 5’9, thin build, wearing a baseball cap, a gray and red shirt with lettering on it, a blue surgical mask and appeared to be in his 40’s. Detectives are investigating.
