03.03.20 Five Suspects Sought in Robbery

2020-12359 Police seeking the public’s help in identifying Ulta thieves On Monday, March 2nd at 8:19 p.m., an off-duty Baytown Police Officer was shopping inside the Ulta Beauty Supply located in the 6300 block of Garth Road. While inside the store, she observed a theft in progress in which four black females entered the store, grabbed several shopping bags and immediately ran to the perfume section and began concealing numerous bottles of perfume inside their bags. Upon noticing the theft in progress our officer, who was in plain clothes, immediately notified management and proceeded to the front of the store in an attempt to prevent the suspects from leaving with the stolen merchandise. As the four suspects approached the exit, our officer identified herself as a Baytown Police Officer in an effort to stop the suspects however, the suspects, unabated by our officer’s presence, overpowered her as she was trying to lock the doors, knocking her to the ground as they fled out of the store. Once in the parking lot all four female suspects entered a late model white four-door passenger car and fled the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The four suspects are described as black females, approximately 16-17 years of age and wearing shower caps. Our officer, who fortunately was not seriously injured, was treated at a local medical facility for a sprained wrist, hand and forearm and released back to full duty.
