2019-71552 – On December 12th officers responded to a report of an auto pedestrian accident in the 3500 block of Garth. Upon arrival officers learned that a 59 year old male was walking west through the intersection of Garth Road and Rollingbrook, crossing the street. At the same time a vehicle that was traveling south on Garth was attempting to turn east onto Rollingbrook resulting in the vehicle striking the male. The male, who was alert and talking, was transported to the Bayshore Hospital to be treated for an apparent head injury. No charges have been filed. (the pedestrian failed to yield to the vehicle, who had a green light in the turn lane)
