01.18.19 Three News Highlights (Arrests and Assault)

2019-3673 – Possession/Drug Paraphernalia

On Thursday, January 17th at 11:04 p.m., Baytown Hot Spot Unit observed two subjects standing in the roadway in the 1700 block of Clayton Street. The officers approached both individuals and inquired as to why they were standing in the roadway. The female subject, later identified as Elizabeth Danuser, stated they were waiting for someone to pick them up from their friends home. Let it be known that the house they were standing in front of has a history of teenagers doing drugs. The officer asked Elizabeth if she had anything illegal in her bag and she gave the officer approval to search the bag. The bag contained a small black bottle with marijuana residue inside, marijuana pipe, rolling papers, lighter, and a taser. Elizabeth was arrested for drug paraphernalia and the 16 year old male subject was taken to the Baytown Police Department where he received two citations for Minor in Possession of Tobacco and Littering.

Story 2: Around 3 am in Mt. Belvieu, the Uber driver of a F150 called 911 to say his passenger was drunk and violent. The Uber driver had to ask the passenger to exit his vehicle. Police were dispatched to the scene as well as EMS to treat a laceration abstained by the driver. No other details are available.

Story 3: In our final story, Baytown Police assisted Pct. 8 Constables with an arrest underneath the Hartman Bridge around 5:30 am this morning. No other details are available at this time. Check back for the official press release
