On Thursday night, concerned citizens noticed two children in a vehicle in the Target parking lot on Garth Road. Callers to Baytown PD said the children had been in the alone in the vehicle for about one hour. Baytown police, EMS and fire and rescue arrived on the scene as well as relatives of the two children – one child was approximately one year old and the other approximately five years old. The children were unharmed and the mother of the children was issued a citation at the scene. This is not the official Baytown police press release.
