Chambers County Sheriff’s Office: Three Arrested Friday Morning

Sheriff Brian C. Hawthorne reports that at approximately 2:15 a.m. early this morning, while on assignment, Mont Belvieu Police Department Officer Curtis Ganey alerted Chambers County Deputies that two trucks pulling white enclosed trailers were Westbound on the I-10 feeder road with grass and mud on the rear of the trailers bearing Extreme Trailers of Texas markings. 

One truck exited Sjolander Road and was stopped by Officer Ganey and Chambers County Deputy Daniel Herman who arrested and transported to the Chambers County Jail, Jaime Alejandro Garcia 26, of Houston.
Chambers County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Brian Orlando followed the second truck Westbound until Harris County Precinct 3 and Baytown Police Department back up arrived then he affected a traffic stop at Normandy Street. The driver, identified as 21 year old Oscar Alvarez of Houston, and a passenger, 22 year old Jose Luis Martinez of Katy were arrested and transported to the Chambers County Jail.
Garcia and Alvarez are charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity Theft a third degree felony. Martinez is charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, third degree felony as well as Theft of a firearm a state jail felony, and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon, misdemeanor A.
