04.25.18 Two Stories: Man Arrested on Wisconsin Street and (UPDATE 05.02.18) Child Injured by School Bus

2018-19084,   On March 31st,   31 year old Jose Valdovinos assaulted his 65 year old father and left the scene prior to officers arrival. Officers went to his residence in the 3300 block of Wisconsin yesterday at 9:34 p.m. to arrest him on the warrant and he fled the residence as officers arrived. However, he was quickly taken into custody by officers.

Update/Press Release from Elizabeth Dombrowa with GCCISD Public Relations (05.02.18) A 10-year-old boy ran into the street in the 1500 block of Squire and was struck by a school bus. The child was transported to the hospital. We have no further details on his condition, although his injuries are not life threatening. We wish him a speedy recovery.

In our second story, an auto-pedestrian accident occurred on Squire Drive in Baytown on Wednesday afternoon.  A seven-year-old male student’s foot was injured when it was run over by the school bus.  The seven-year-old was airlifted to a Houston hospital.  No other information is available.
