Harris County Sheriff’ deputies and Baytown police responded to the scene of an incident in McNair early Wednesday morning around 12:58 am. A man reported that shortly after he pulled his vehicle into the parking lot of Love’s Truck Stop in the 1700 block of I-10, he was asked for a ride by a male who needed to be dropped off at or near Ellis School Road. When the driver of the vehicle arrived at Ellis School Road, his vehicle was surrounded by four black males. The males robbed him and searched through his vehicle. The man managed to get back into his vehicle and drive away, only to be followed by the subjects. The subjects fired at the fleeing driver and struck his vehicle. At the posting of this report, no suspects have been apprehended.
