Baytown police and SWAT responded to a scene on Beaumont Street in Baytown today. A man barricaded himself in the Horizon apartments with a woman. After several hours of negotiations, the man surrendered to police. Cocaine and marijuana were found inside the apartment, but no weapon was found. Police were dispatched to the scene after receing a call from a third party saying a woman was being held hostage.
