On Wednesday, April 26, 2017 deputies were dispatched to a weapons call at the parking lot of a housing community in the 3200 block of Royal Avenue around 9 p.m. When deputies arrived two females, ages 27 and 28, and a male 28 years old had been shot by two male subjects. A dispute among neighbors that had been brewing all day was the flash point.
Sherlon Reid and Daquarian Reid were the two suspects that fired at the group across the parking lot. A male in the other parties group fired back at the Reid’s, but did not injure any one. The Reid’s are the only one charged in this matter. They face aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The three victims are in good condition and are expected to recover from their injuries.
