2017-17527 – On March 22nd at 11:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Hafer in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant who had apparently suffered a stab wound to his arm. The complainant was bleeding heavily but already had a tourniquet applied to his arm. During the course of the investigation officers learned that one of the neighbors had been awoken by the complainant banging on his door. As the neighbor opened the door he noticed the complainant’s injury and quickly applied the makeshift tourniquet. The complainant was able to provide a first name and a description of the person who stabbed him, a former acquaintance by the name of George. Other responding officers located a subject matching the description given, and determined he was the actor in the assault. The subject was identified as 36 year old George Morin of Baytown. Mr. Morin was placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail where he was charged, through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
