2017-15833 – On March 14th at 6:55 p.m., officers were dispatched to the San Jacinto Mall in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant who advised he and his wife were walking from the parking lot to the mall when a black male approached them from behind, brandished a handgun, robbing them at gunpoint. The suspect fled the scene in a white passenger car. A short time later officers received word that a robbery had just occurred in Chambers County in which the vehicle matched the description of the vehicle in our robbery. Deputies were able to apprehend the suspects in that robbery and one of the suspects in the vehicle matched the description of the suspect in ours and also was found to be in possession of property belonging to our victim. The suspect, identified as 23 year old Antoine Ivey of Channelview, was arrested and charged through Chambers County with Aggravated Robbery on their case. He was also charged through Harris County with a second count of Aggravated Robbery on our case. No mug shot available as he was booked into Chambers County Jail.
