01.23.17 Missing Child/BPD Seeks Your Help

On Monday, January 23, 2017 at approximately 1:14 a.m., Baytown Police were
notified of a 10 year old female who had gone missing from her residence in the
4100 block of Waterwood Drive. The missing child is identified as Jaidyn Amiot
and is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, approximately 120 pounds with brown hair
and brown eyes. Jaidyn has a medium complexion and a medium build and suffers
from depression.
Detectives have learned during the investigation that the child was last seen by her
grandmother yesterday, January 22nd
, at approximately 11:00 a.m. asleep in her bed.
However, when the grandmother went to check on her, between noon and 1:00
p.m., she found the child was missing and her pajamas lying on her bed, suggesting
the child may have left intentionally. Jaidyn may be wearing black or white tights
and an orange tank top.
