This single vehicle accident occurred early Sunday morning, October 23, 2016, on FM 565 in Mt. Belvieu, Texas. The driver of the truck and his passenger wrecked out while trying to avoid colliding with an oncoming vehicle. The passenger had to be extricated from the wreckage. The driver said he had just gotten his truck out of the body shop and was in route to enter his truck into the show at the Royal Purple Raceway when the accident occurred. No life threatening injuries were sustained.
