UPDATE: OFFICIAL BPD PRESS RELEASE: 2016-30807 On Sunday June 5th at 12:15 p.m., officers responded to a stabbing inside an apartment located at 1305 Memorial, Graywood Arms Apartments. A preliminary investigation shows a 34 year old man who resides in the apartment had been stabbed by his live-in girlfriend’s estranged boyfriend. The victim was flown to a Houston hospital where he is expected to survive. The ex has been identified as 35 year old Baytown man Randy Pascual Chavez. Chavez fled the crime scene prior to our arrival; a to-be warrant for Aggravated Assault will be filed on him. Chavez’ photo is attached, he was arrested last month after stealing $700 worth of tools from Home Depot.
Shortly after 11am today, Sunday, June 5, 2016, Baytown’s emergency personnel responded to the scene of a stabbing. The male victim was airlifted to Memorial-Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX. No press release is available at this time. Check back for the official Baytown Police press release.
