02.13.26 Two Stories: Aggravated Robbery and 19-Year-Old Shot/Baytown

On February 11, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery involving a vehicle. The suspect was observed leaving a nearby residence and approached a driver, where the vehicle was taken at gunpoint. The suspect then fled the area in the victim’s vehicle.

A short time later, officers located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to comply, leading officers on a pursuit. During the incident, the suspect drove recklessly, struck a parked vehicle, and ultimately lost control of the stolen vehicle after hitting multiple objects.

The suspect then fled on foot but was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit with the assistance of a K9 unit. The individual, who is a juvenile, was taken into custody without further incident. The case was reviewed by the District Attorney’s Office, and charges of Aggravated Robbery and Felony Evading were accepted. Due to the suspect’s age, no additional identifying information, including a booking photo, will be released.

Story 2:

Around 12:50 pm, Harris County District 3 deputies along with Baytown police responded to the scene a shooting that occurred in the 6000 block of Barkaloo Road on Thursday, February 12. Upon arrival, deputies found a 19-year-old male had been shot.  According to Harris County Media, an altercation started inside the home which is where the male was shot. The suspect evaded police when he ran from the scene.  The 19-year-old did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
