According to info gathered at the scene, a man called to report a fire at his dwelling place on in the 400 block of N. Gaillard shortly before 5 am Tuesday. Baytown Fire Department responded to the location. According to their press release, crews arrived to find heavy fire from the second floor and initiated an aggressive fire attack and search. The fire was confined to the building of origin with no reported injuries.
