On July 6th, 2023, at approximately 23:13 hours,
Miss. Aaliayah Harrison was operating a 2013 Dodge Avenger
traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of the 1900 block of Ellis School Road.
Mr. Omar Guess was operating a 2009 Nissan Altima
with a front right seat passenger, Miss. Daisha Battle.
Mr. Guess was traveling eastbound in the eastbound lane of the 1900 block of Ellis School Road.
Miss. Harrison struck Mr. Guess’s vehicle multiple times with her vehicle
while involved in a road rage incident.
Miss. Harrison subsequently lost control of her vehicle left the roadway to the left and went into the ditch
on the south side of the roadway,
before rolling over and coming to rest.
Miss. Harrison was not wearing a seatbelt,
partially ejected, and pinned underneath her vehicle.
Miss. Harrison was found on scene with no sign of life.
Mr. Guess and Miss Battle were not injured in the incident. Mr. Guess showed no signs of intoxication during the initial on scene investigation.
The case remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
