Story 2:
At 11:31 a.m. Mont Belvieu Fire Department and Police Department were notified that a construction crew had hit a natural gas line on Eagle Dr. at Kathleen Blvd. At that time, emergency responders shut down Eagle Dr. in both directions and shut down Kathleen Blvd. as well as Wilburn Ranch Rd. which closed access to the Crown Colony and Wilburn Ranch neighborhoods respectively. At 3:00 p.m., while repair crews from Centerpoint were attempting to make a repair on the damaged gas line, a second line was hit. That has forced Eagle Dr., Kathleen Blvd., and Wilburn Ranch Rd. to remain closed until repairs can be made.
