01.15.20 Two Stories/Baytown

2020-2619 – On January 14th officers were dispatched to a disturbance at the Econo Lodge in the 300 block of South Alexander in reference to a disturbance where it was reported that a male had been stabbed. Upon arrival officers located the male, identified as 28 year old Dexter St. Andre of Baytown, who advised he and a female acquaintance had been an argument and she cut him with a small pocket knife, St. Andre did in fact have a small laceration to his arm. St. Andre advised he did not assault the female but did push her off of him when she cut him. Officers contacted the female and while she admitted to cutting St. Andre, she claimed St. Andre had choked her and that was the reason she cut him. Neither party wanted to pursue charges; however, St. Andre was found to have outstanding local traffic warrants and was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail while the female was advised by management she could no longer stay on the premises.
