On Monday night, January 5, 2015, a man seeking help knocked on the door of a resident in the 2500 block of East James. The man had been shot in the abdomen by an unidentified person. The female resident drove the 23-year-old male to San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown, Texas. He was later airlifted to a Houston hospital. Baytown detectives are still working the case and as of the posting of this story, there have been no arrests.
