11.7.22 Three News Stories/Baytown

Story 1: 2022-55641 – Unresponsive Male
Unknown unresponsive Hispanic Male was found by Lee College Security, bloody and non-responsive on the city library property, rolling around on the ground.
The man’s vehicle was located in the roadway with 2 flat tires in the 900 block of W. Texas Ave.
The man was transported to Houston Methodist Baytown hospital for treatment while officers tried to identify him and locate family members to advise them and handle the vehicle.
Case Status: Investigation continuing.

Story 2:

2022-55914 – Aggravated Assault on E. James

  • Officers were dispatched to a stabbing that occurred in the 400 block of E. James, and a suspect was named.
  • When officers arrived Baytown Fire/EMS were tending to the wounded victim on the ground and the victim named the suspect.
  • The victim said the suspect was last seen riding a bicycle from the area and a general area where his “best friend” lived; the wound is not thought to be life threatening.
  • The dispute is initially thought to have been over an ex-girlfriend but additional details are needed.
  • Charges were declined pending further investigation and confirmation of the named suspect.
  • Case Status: Investigation continuing.
