On July 2, 2021, Interim Chief of Police Mike Holden placed Patrol Officers Teddy Sims and Samuel Serrett on administrative leave without pay. Chief Holden placed Detention Officer Shane Dunlap on administrative leave with pay. An internal investigation is ongoing.
