2020-26736 – On May 28th at 2:05 a.m., officers responded to a report of male laying in the roadway in the 700 block of Yupon, who had reportedly been beaten with a bat. Upon arrival officers found the 48 year old male in the roadway with lacerations to his head and hand. The complainant advised he was hit from behind but was unable to provide any further details. The complainant was transported to the Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital to be treated for his injuries. Detectives are investigating.
2020-26922 – On May 29th at 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a single vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Highway 146, between Park St. and Garth Rd. Upon arrival officers found a white Chevrolet Impala had left the roadway and struck a concrete piling. Officers found the 21 year old male driver of the vehicle conscious and alert. As a precautionary measure, the male was airlifted to Memorial Hermann hospital in stable condition. Police are still investigating what may have caused the driver to leave the roadway.
