Fake Louis Vuitton Scam
Detectives with Baytown Police Department are currently investigating several cases involving
the sale of Counterfeit Louis Vuitton handbags. These items have been advertised for sale on
multiple social media sights such as Offer Up, Facebook, etc. and sold to unsuspecting victims in
the Baytown area.
The Baytown Police Department is attempting to identify potential victims who may have
purchased one of these handbags in the Baytown area from our suspects, only described at this
time as a black male and female. If you have recently purchased one of these handbags in the
Baytown area and believe you may have been a victim of this fraud please contact the Baytown
Police Department at fakelv@Baytown.org.
Please include in the email your name and contact information as well as a short synopsis of
your purchase. Once your email is received and processed, a Detective will contact you to discuss
your particular case. This email account has been set up for this specific investigation and will be
active until 8:00 a.m. Monday, February 19th
