2017-70248 – Today at 1:15 p.m., officers were dispatched
to the 6900 block of North Main in reference to a shots fired call.
While enroute officers learned that a subject at the apartments
was claiming he had been struck by one of the bullets.
Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant who advised
he had arrived at the complex to confront a subject named Alex,
regarding a dispute they had. While at the complex “Alex”
suddenly appeared and began chasing the complainant and
fired several shots in his direction from a handgun,
which struck the ground near the complainant. Alex was gone
when officers arrived. Police are investigating and charges are
pending on “Alex”.
