12.06.17 Two News Stories Wednesday Night (See 12.07 Update from BPD)

The robbery you are referring to on W. Baker is actually the 2017-70151 below. The complainant met the officers in the 200 block of W. Baker to make the report but the robbery actually occurred on Northwood. I listed three robberies below as it appears these three cases are related based on suspect description, vehicle description and MO. Detectives are investigating.

2017-70151 – On December 6th at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a Robbery in the 1200 block of Northwood. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant who advised that she had just arrived at her apartment and exited her vehicle when she was approached by two black males, one described as wearing a ski mask, black hoodie, black jeans and brandishing a handgun, the second black male was described as wearing a maroon beanie and dark colored sweat shirt and dark colored jeans. While the first suspect held the complainant at gun point the second suspect searched her and her vehicle. the suspects then fled in a 4 door silver passenger car.

2017-70154 – On December 6th at 8:51 p.m., officers were dispatched to 1601 Garth in reference to an assault. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant who advised he as in the parking lot of the complex when he was struck over the head causing him to fall to the ground. The complainant advised as he fell to the ground he noticed a black male approximately 6 ft. tall, and 30 years old, wearing a tan or brown jacket and a tan face mask was going through his pockets, taking his wallet. The suspect then fled to a small silver passenger car and fled the scene. The complainant was transported to a local hospital to be treated for lacerations to his head as a result of the robbery.

2017-70160 – On December 6th at 9:49 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Northwood in reference to a Robbery. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant who advised she arrived at her apartment and as she exited her vehicle she was approached by a black male wearing all black who pointed a gun at her and ordered her out of the vehicle. As she complied another black male, went through her vehicle and her purse but nothing was taken. The two suspects then fled and got into a silver 4 door passenger vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The reported stabbing on 146 turned out to just be two guys fighting. They were separated and no charges filed, no one was stabbed.
