UPDATE/Official Harris County Sheriff’ Office Press Release:
On July 19, 2017 in the 5400 block of Sjolander Rd the Complainant and his passenger were traveling N/B in a motor vehicle. The Complainant Failed to Drive in a Single Lane crossing into the S/B lane. The Complainant struck a S/B vehicle head on. The Complainant and Passenger of the vehicle died from injuries on the scene from the crash. The Driver of the S/B truck was transported to Hermann Hospital via Baytown Medic # 3. The two children passengers of the truck were transported to Hermann Hospital via Life Flight # 6.

Baytown’s Emergency Response crews responded to the scene of a major accident on Sjolander Road around 6:30am this morning, Wednesday, July 19, 2017. There were two fatalities as a result of the accident and two were transport by life flight to a Houston hospital. Check back for the official Baytown Police press release.
