2017-40110 – Officers responded to the Ravella at Eastpoint Apartments, located at 7447 Eastpoint Blvd., in reference to a welfare concern. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the 22 year-old victim who stated she and her husband had been drinking and a verbal argument ensued. The victim attempted to leave the apartment but could not because her husband prevented her from leaving by lying in front of the door. The victim attempted to climb down the balcony when she slipped and fell. The victim declined medical attention.
2017-40194 – Officers responded to the 1200 block of Northwood Drive in reference to an assault with a weapon. Upon arrival, the officers made contact with one victim who stated he and his girlfriend got into an argument and when he attempted to leave the apartment she stabbed cut him with a knife on his wrist. The female victim stated she and her boyfriend got into a verbal altercation and he punched her in the face. She went to get a knife to protect herself and when he tried to take the knife, she accidentally cut him on his wrist. The Harris County District Attorney’s office declined charges on both parties. However, each party was cited for assault family violence and citations were issued.
