Case 2016-71560/71561
Rick Davis
City Manager
On December 23, 2016, Baytown Police Officers responded to two aggravated
robberies, which occurred 10 minutes apart of each other, in Chambers County.
The first robbery was at Dillon’s Liquor located at 6729 N. SH 146 and the
second robbery occurred at Speedy Express Convenience Store located at 5212

The subject used the same modus operandi and police quickly determined that
the subject was responsible for both aggravated robberies. According to both
employees, the subject entered the store and made a purchase. Upon opening
the cash register to give the subject his change, they were pepper-sprayed in the
face.
The subject is described as a black male in his early 40s, wearing a black beanie
cap, a light blue buttoned-up shirt, dark pants and white sneakers. The subject
fled the scene in what appeared to be a newer model white 4-door Hyundai
Elantra.
