Police seeking help in identifying suspect in bank robbery

On Saturday, November 19, 2016 at approximately 11:49 a.m., Baytown Police
responded to a robbery at the Woodforest National Bank located inside the WalMart
Supercenter located in the 4900 block of Garth Road.
Detectives learned during the investigation that an older white male approached the
counter and instructed the bank employee to remain quiet as he handed her a note
demanding money. The bank employee handed over the money and the suspect
exited the store, getting into an older white van described as having windows all
around, and left the area. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately
60 years-old, with sunken cheeks and a soft voice. No one was hurt and no firearm
was displayed.
