Update:
Sheriff Brian C. Hawthorne reports that Jennifer Morgan Rivers, 33 of the Canyon Lake, Texas area has been positively identified as the female found dead in Wallisville, Texas on June 25, 2016.
Daniel Jeremy Heredia is charged with murder and William Joseph Griffin charged with tampering/fabricating physical evidence. Heredia remains in jail with no bond on the murder charge.
The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Comal County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers, are continuing to investigate.
