On Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:53 am, The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office was requested by Baytown Fire Department to assist with a fire investigation in the 5900 block of Barkaloo Road east Harris County. An adult male identified as Tommy Maness has been arrested for setting a fire in his front yard because he was angry at his girlfriend. Maness was booked into the Harris County jail.
In our second story, Baytown Fire Department responded to the scene of a fire at Steve’s Barbecue on Highway 146. One female employee sustained a burn injury to her hand. She was treated at a local hospital. The fire was quickly extinguished by Baytown Fire Department.
