2016-838 A citizen was walking in a wooded area south of Park Street on Airhart when he located the body of an apparent suicide victim. While the body was in an advanced stage of decomposition, our preliminary investigation shows the victim to be 35 year old Baytown man Jason Nugent. Jason had been reported missing by a family member on December 8th. The Harris County Institute Of Forensic Science will conduct an autopsy to verify the identity of the body and determine the cause of death. Our preliminary investigation shows the manner of death to be from hanging. Detectives located and notified his next of kin yesterday afternoon.
